This course provides students with the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.  This course is for an annual update of your CPR skills.

People who have completed CPR training can better support others in the event of an incident, accident, or emergency situation, including in the home, workplace or within the community to provide CPR until medical assistance arrives. Crucial Training Options' accredited CPR training program offers convenient online learning of the fundamentals of CPR followed by practical hands-on workshops.

Target Audience:

This course is suited for everyone who may be supporting people in the community or for those who have either never done a CPR course or for anyone whose certificate is about to expire.  
REMEMBER:  CPR expires every 12 months.

Learning Outcomes:

  • On successful completion of this course, students will be issued with a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment.

Learning Methods:

Session 1 - Online learning and assessment (up to 2 hours to complete)

The online learning component allows you the flexibility, time, and space to learn and complete important theory assessments at your own pace, when and wherever you want! The actual duration of this component will vary depending on your experience and knowledge. 

You will need access to a computer and the internet to complete this part of the course. Mobile phones are not recommended due to the small screen size.

You must have successfully completed the online assessment prior to attending the practical face-to-face component of the course.


Session 2 - Face to Face Practical session (around 2 hours)

Our face-to-face practical session gives you the opportunity to apply the knowledge you have learned and develop the hands-on skills, practice them, receive trainer feedback and then complete assessment tasks based on first aid or emergency scenarios.
